Help Us Grow

The Discovery Trail at Rocky Creek is a project of Equuvation, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization. All of our efforts are privately funded through the generosity of individuals in our community.

Make a Donation

Our goal is to make sure the intended use of the trail is always free of charge; as we feel that today's families, parents, caregivers, teachers and youth have enough to worry about on a daily basis. In order to do this, we rely on the financial support of our community.

We accept online and personal/business check donations.
To make a donation via Paypal, click the button below.

There are also a variety of ways that local businesses, individuals and groups can support the use, maintenance and growth of the trail, from gift donations to ongoing or special event sponsorships; product and service donations, and more. Contact us for additional ways to get involved.

If you wish to make a donation via personal or business check in snail mail, you may send it directly to: The Discovery Trail / Equuvation Inc. • PO Box 6357, Statesville NC 28687. Make checks payable to Equuvation Inc. Thank you for your support!

Looking for a way to make a permanent mark on The Discovery Trail? In addition to several Legacy Sponsorship opportunities, you may choose to purchase a Dog Bone for the D station. In honor of all of the important dogs in our lives – personal pet, therapy, service, military and working – we have created a special place at the D station for custom engraved slate stones in the shape of a dog bone. You may select to purchase one of these stones in honor or in memory of your business, family or a special canine in your life. CLICK HERE for the Dog Bone Sponsorship Form and complete your donation online.

All Dog Bone sponsors receive: a custom engraved stone, permanently placed at the D Station along The Discovery Trail; and a complimentary sponsor listing on our web site. The cost to purchase a stone is $250, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
